Act for Over Coffee Films
Are you a Spokane, Washington area actor, or do you live in the area and have always wanted to try your hand at acting perhaps as a bit part or an extra? Well, we are looking for local talent to fill out our casting rolodex. If you think you’ve got the stuff, and if you’d like to be part of an up-and-coming film company, here’s how you can be part of our next short film, feature, documentary, or commercial.
Linked here are scripts for monologues. You may choose any of the following that you’d like to do, and film yourself delivering it. You are free to ad lib as you see fit. The key is to bring yourself to the character and wow us with your approach.
- Humphrey Bogart’s incomparable monologue to Ingrid Bergman at the final airport scene in Casablanca: Casablanca Airport Scene: Rick
- Katherine Hepburn’s devastating monologue in Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner: Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner Scene: Christina
- Samuel L. Jackson’s famous ethical dilemma monologue in the cafe at the end of Pulp Fiction: Pulp Fiction Diner Scene: Jules
Once you’ve finished filming yourself delivering the monologue (Don’t worry much about film quality. Smartphone is fine, so long as the sound is intelligible.), send us the YouTube link as well as a short bio in the message block of the contact form below.
Good luck, and we look forward to seeing your work!
